Hello darling;

Well here it is Sunday morning and as things are very quite I thought I would write you and let you know why a few days have gone by and why you have not heard from me. It was a wild few days but they decided to close the station in Lachine and we were moved to Kingston. We only had a few hours to get all of our things together before they put us on a bus and moved us to our new station here in Kingston. So dear in the event that you have sent me any letters, I will not receive them and you will now need to forward letters to my new station. Once I get the proper address I hope that you will write as soon as possible.
Overall the place is not too bad, but it certainly does not hold a candle to our place back in Lachine or even Halifax. I think they still have some work to do o the place but I am not sure for how long we will all be here.
I went to the station show last night as I did not feel very ambitious to check out the town. I guess I will do the same thing tonight.
It certainly is nice to know that I will be coming home every 2 weeks. Just think in 10 days we will be together again. Being closer now will certainly make it a lot easier to get home. And don’t think it will be too long before we are together for good, so we will have to decide where we are going to live for the first couple of months after I am discharged. I was thinking if we could get an apartment for a month or two but I imagine that will be practically impossible but we can see what’s what as soon as I am out (and it wont be too soon to suit me).
Has your Pop made any inquiries about that machine? I really think that I could make a go of it even if it was in my spare time , so keep after him and see what you can do about getting him “cracking” on it. I wont mind paying $100 even for the outfit. I think that is he could get 100 bottles that would be sufficient to get started on. But I will leave everything to him but tell him I do not mind paying %150 to get the machine and the bottles.
Well darling I have just got back from dinner where I had 2 pineapples sundaes for dessert. I had a sleep for an hour and I think I have finally caught up on my sleep.
As Christmas is coming up, can you get my mother and father something dear? Do not spend too much on it, but I guess you could get a little silver bowl or something that you think that she would like. I will leave that all up to you dear.
Well dear that is about all for now but I will write you on Friday or Saturday again and hopefully I will have the address of where you can send all those letters I am expecting.
So with that, all my love, I remain your very loving husband,
