Hello darling;

Well here it is Monday afternoon and about time that I dropped my little wife a real nice letter. I got away OK darling and there was only 6 of us on the whole coach so we had lots of room to stretch our legs. I had a few naps on the trip and we arrived in about 7:30. Friday night I was in bed by 8 o’clock and Saturday night I went downtown and took in a show and on Sunday I just took it easy and I was on duty last night so that just a bout covers all my activities since I have been back here.
Tonight there is a good show on at the station and I think I will go to it. Well darling I had a real good leave thanks to you dear and I just hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. I’ll be glad when the middle of next month rolls around and I become a pop, boy that will be a day for me to remember. Darling, I cannot say how much I enjoyed spending all that time with you and the family. I am so lucky to have you as my wife and I think that one of the best parts is that my family grew once I married you. Having your folks and your little sister become part of my family has been so wonderful and I cannot wait for us to start our family and adding to this crowd.
The weather is not to bad down here, it is snowing slightly but I really think that the worst is over and I just hope that you have nice weather so that you can get out a bit and have a little exercise.
Well darling what is the latest news on you house? I’m certainly glad to know that you will be back in the east end when our baby is born, you will be able to visit “Granny” Lewis quite often. You should start looking around for a nice carriage.
Poor old Lloyd is very sad about the whole thing he is trying so hard and he doesn’t seem to have having any luck at it at all. He was asking me what the knack is and I told him I would tell him when he gets a little older. I think they are trying so hard to be in the family way, and I think they should just try and enjoy the whole experience, if you know what I mean.
By the way I had a letter from Bob and he is in Scotland and he says that the Scotch girls have them all beat, they are even better than the French ones. I should know though, I married one and I’ll agree with him.
I am happy that Marg had some time away with us when I was down here and that we took her out for supper to get her mind off of what she is going through being there at the Simpsons house. I think that he really envies you and how you have such wonderful support and I know that you are a good friend to her as well and I think that is what she needs right now.
I have not been able to see Pere yet, the visiting days are Wednesday and Saturday and Sunday so I’ll go and see him for sure on Wednesday. It really is a shame what happens, falling down in front of that car. That is why I am so worried about you walking along the sidewalks when they are icy so please take care dear will you eh?
Well darling I think that is about all for now but I’ll drop you a few more lines around Thursday or so, and so darling until then all my love dear and just wait until May and I’ll show you how much that is and so,
All my love darling,

Bill
